Dayna’s extensive education and anthropological research has made her an expert in the college and graduate admissions process, and she has helped myriad students reach their goals of attending their dream college or university.
Previous to this, Dayna earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Cultural Anthropology and taught English as a second language (ESL) in South Korea before returning to the U.S. to continue teaching ESL classes to the Latinx community in the Central Valley of California.
After graduate school in Chicago, Dayna became an educational consultant in the Bay Area working with students across the Silicon Valley and beyond to gain admission into top universities. She continued coaching students on applying for college and graduate school throughout her time as a doctoral student and has spent the past five years as a researcher and scholar in training studying the college admissions process, racial inequity, educational anthropology, and social justice within campus climates for students, faculty, and leadership. Dayna’s extensive knowledge of secondary and higher education institutions and processes effectively enables her to assist student growth, evolution, and learning on their journey towards attaining a university and graduate school degree
