About Me

I graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science and a minor in Latin American Studies, and I obtained my Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. I was a successful lawyer for 20 years working at law firms in New York City before transitioning to in-house law departments. When my three children were in middle school, I decided to take a break from law to focus on my family.

Even with my legal background, I found that the constantly changing landscape of college admissions was incredibly confusing and exerted an immense amount of pressure on students looking to be admitted into colleges. Personally witnessing the overwhelming stress associated with the college application process, I decided to transition from law and dedicate my efforts to assisting students and their families to successfully navigate the college admissions process.

I have completed IECA’s Summer Training Institute for Independent College Consultants and I am currently working towards completing the Specialized Certificate in College Counseling at the University of California San Diego.
