About Me
Stashia Kaiel transferred to a better-fit university after her first year, and it was there, during a study-abroad program in Spain her junior year, that her life changed direction — she's been involved in international education ever since. Having lived in South Korea and Spain and traveled to 18 countries across three continents, she brings genuinely global experience to her work.
Stashia holds a Bachelor's in Education with a minor in Spanish and a Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership. Over 25 years, she's worked as a Resident Assistant for Japanese students in Spokane, an English teacher through Korea's EPIK government program, an ELL teacher in Portland public schools, a bilingual teacher for Oregon's Migrant Education Summer Program, a volunteer with AFS's education abroad program, and an International Admission and Study Abroad representative for Gonzaga University.
