Luanne has undergone extensive licensing and training as a Certified College Planning Specialist and for the past 15+ years has devoted her financial services practice to providing financial education and efficient solutions to families.
In 1973, Luanne graduated from Dartmouth HS, Dartmouth, Massachusetts. She followed her heart to attend Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI with her then boyfriend Jim Lee. Jim and Luanne married in September 1975. They have 2 grown children, 3 beautiful grandchildren, 3 dogs, 2 cats,1 grand-dog and have been living on a very peaceful 12.5 acre property in Broad Run, VA for the past 27 years. One day the plan is to have a horse or two, since they believe horses and grandkids go together like peanut butter and jelly!
What made Luanne decide on a career in financial services? Her kids were almost grown and it was time for her to focus on a career outside of the home. Her financial advisor had always been so helpful. Luanne wanted to do something where she could make an impact to help families and feel good about what she did everyday and so she began her career in Financial Services in 1996.
Sometime around 2004 Luanne decided to focus on the specialty of College Planning and Funding when she saw how student loan debt was hampering so many parents and students from reaching their retirement goals. Little did she know at the time just how specialized college planning was!
Luanne has undergone extensive licensing and training as a College Financial Planning Specialist and for the past 15+ years has devoted her practice to providing financial education and efficient solutions to families maneuvering through the complex process of planning and funding for college without jeopardizing their retirement goals.
