About Me

Mrs. Ducreux was the High School Counselor at Balboa Academy in Panama City, Panama. She also served as the AP coordinator and was in charge of all the testing related to high school students. She coordinated schedules and classes for teachers and students and met with parents and students for academic and social-emotional issues. She is also one of the founders of Balboa Academy and served on the Board of Directors and the Balboa Academy Foundation.
Mrs. Ducreux is also a consultant for College Counseling services. Among the services offered, she includes career testing, college counseling, both for undergraduate and graduate school, and individual assistance for students with learning disabilities attending college. She also advises students with special needs to get extended time and other services for Standardized testing.
She is presently the founder of the Academic Excellence Center, in Panama City Panama, where she oversees college counseling, tutoring, career testing and multiple other services.
Before assuming her current position, Mrs. Ducreux worked for the Department of Defense Schools, where she was an educator in the Elementary school. She also coordinated the Onward to Excellence Program, which was the School Improvement guideline that drove the academic and research-based goals and objectives of the selected schools. She is one of the founders of Balboa Academy, and among her duties, she oversees the AP program, SSD Program, College Counseling, and Special Services for students. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Ducreux moved to Panama City, Panama, at age three. She attended Colegio Las Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón.
