What’s the point of getting admitted to a great school if you cannot afford it? And what’s the point of finding an affordable school if you cannot get admitted?

I help families with BOTH problems.

About Me

I consult with lots of families - either directly or through the school counselor or through their financial advisor.

Financial Professionals use me as their “secret” weapon when it comes to planning for college. I help families optimize their financial aid (free money) eligibility. Plus I can find schools that fit the family’s budget. When financial professionals see what I can do for a family, they are blown away.

But I’m equally adept at helping high school students improve their chances of being admitted into college. Too many families focus on the wrong things when it comes to college admissions. It takes more than good grades and high test scores. It takes more than just a passion project. I help students find their authentic self and highlight why they deserve to be admitted into a great school.

Personally - that's what I enjoy the most... helping students find their authentic self and getting a sense of direction for their life. Most parents incorrectly think high school students need to feel lost and discover themselves in college. Waiting until college is too late (and too expensive). It can successfully be done in HS. I call it finding their "true north" in life. It's a personal journey for the student based on their aptitudes and personality.

This is how I help families not just survive, but thrive during the college years:
1) helping the student discover their authentic self and help them develop a personal brand around it
2) pick the right schools that will set the student up for success but also will be a good ROI
3) help the student with the admissions strategy for each school and help ensure their application is positioned correctly
4) help the parents develop their budget for college
5) find schools that fit the budget (by maximizing the amount of free money they can qualify for)
6) strategically prep the financial aid applications

“Earn your success based on service to others, not at the expense of others.” – H. Jackson Brown Jr.

LET"S CONNECT! I'm growing my network so that I can help connect high school and college students with people who can offer mentor-like advice. It’s extremely helpful to connect my students to professionals in the fields they are studying and want a career in.
