About Me

Patty Garza founded College Strategies to combine her love of mentoring and coaching with her knowledge of college admissions, helping students work toward their goals. She genuinely enjoys listening to teens and serving as a sounding board for their thoughts and plans — and has found that the two biggest worries students face are where to apply and what to write about.

Using a proprietary college selector system and years of experience reviewing hundreds of essays, Patty and her team help students find colleges that fit their interests and qualifications while discovering their own authentic voice on the page.
