About Me
Jennifer Rucier transitioned from thirteen years in broadcast advertising sales to college consulting, guiding students through the search and application process since 2009. She holds a BA in Communication from the University of Puget Sound and an MA in Education from Seattle University, along with training from IECA's Summer Training Institute and UCLA's College Counseling certificate program.
Jennifer is deeply active in the field — a regular volunteer supporting AVID students locally, a conference committee member for PNACAC and HECA, a speaker at Seattle's NACAC College Fair, and Co-Chair of HECA's 2015 National Conference in Cincinnati. She's honest and thorough in her assessments, committed to helping each family find the right post-secondary path — while being clear that no counselor can guarantee admission or claim leverage with admissions offices.
