About Me
With over eighteen years of experience in public education and teaching licenses in New York, Florida, and Massachusetts, Sarah K. Cook is a dedicated advocate for student success. She has taught English (7-12), Reading (9-12), and Special Education (5-12), served as an adjunct College Success professor, and worked as a College & Career Specialist.
Sarah’s experience as a College and Career Coordinator for over a decade led her to recognize the increasing need for personalized college admissions support. In 2015, she founded College Bound Career Ready, LLC (CBCR) to guide students and families through the complexities of the college admissions process and provide comprehensive career preparation. Her approach blends well-researched, student-centered strategies to provide organized, reliable support. Sarah empowers students to explore and find college and career opportunities that align with their unique skills and passions.
Through a dedicated division of CBCR, Sarah also serves as a district consultant, specializing in strategic planning, curriculum design, and promoting experiential learning. As a Career Center Theorist, Sarah helps districts develop individualized programs that enhance college and career readiness. She collaborates to implement impactful initiatives that ensure students receive an enriching educational experience, preparing them for success in their professional careers. Sarah works alongside faculty and staff to streamline state-level standards, foster key partnerships between schools and community organizations, and provide comprehensive career exploration initiatives that maximize impact and value for district funds.
