About Me

Before focusing on college finances, Liane Crane's background spanned teaching, nonprofit direction, and paralegal work at a large NYC law firm. After 10 years at a college consulting company, she started her own business dedicated entirely to helping families understand and plan for the true cost of college — and helping recent graduates understand and manage their debt.

Liane is a member of HECA and NCAG, certified in College Finances through AFCPE, and holds Financial Aid certification through Scoir. As the mother of three children who were all in college at the same time, she has firsthand experience with the chaos and excitement of the process — and isn't shy about recommending yoga, a glass of wine, and long walks to get through it.
