About Me
Before becoming passionate about college finances, Liane’s background included teaching, a non-profit director and paralegal for a large NYC law firm. After 10 years’ experience working for a college consulting company, she started her own business to solely focus on college finances. Her specialty is helping parents early on, truly understand the cost of college and how to pay it, and educating recently graduated students understand their debt and how best to repay it.
She is a member of HECA – Higher Education Consultants Association, NCAG – National College Advocacy Group and certified in College Finances by the AFCPE and Financial Aid certification through Scoir.
Assisting her three children through the college journey has given her first-hand knowledge of what parents really want and need to know. As all three are in college at the same time, the craziness, complications and excitement that surrounds finding a college are well understood. And, she highly recommends yoga, a glass of wine and long walks during the search process!
