A Lehigh accounting and journalism grad, David co-founded his campus's largest student organization before careers at Deloitte and Estée Lauder.

About Me

David Best founded Best College Consulting out of genuine love for the work — orchestrating the college search for talented students. As the child of first-generation college graduates (a CPA and a teacher), he grew up understanding education's power to transform a life, taking family road trips from Long Island to tour campuses like Lehigh University, where he ultimately found his own best fit.

At Lehigh, David combined an accounting major with a journalism minor, led the basketball stats crew, co-founded the campus's largest student organization, and served as Sports Editor of the Brown and White newspaper — experience he carried into a business career at Deloitte, Estée Lauder, AT&T, and FPL, along with an MBA earned back at Lehigh. Today, David channels his lifelong love of colleges into helping the next generation find their own best fit, guiding students to research schools, prepare for interviews and auditions, and find their own voice — with his wife Wendy and son Justin joining him in the mission.
