About Me

Christy Brockman brings over 20 years as a dedicated school counselor, having played a key role in raising college readiness among students at every level of preparedness. She designed innovative higher-ed curricula, expanded dual-credit access across multiple JCPS high schools, and takes a holistic approach to helping students choose the right coursework and extracurriculars for their goals.

Christy's students have gone on to Stanford, Yale, MIT, Columbia, Cornell, Penn, and many other top institutions, and she's helped others secure full-tuition scholarships to schools like Purdue, Louisville, and Indiana University. She stays current through ongoing professional development, and outside of work supports her son's debate and soccer teams, cheers on her daughter's leadership growth, roots for LouCity, and relaxes with her two Pugs, Fenway and Wrigley.
