Elizabeth "Betsy" Ellsworth brings a rare dual perspective to college admissions, having spent a decade as a senior admissions officer at Reed College before moving into high school counseling. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a master's in history from Duke, she went on to lead admissions, financial aid, and college counseling at Greenhills School in Ann Arbor for nineteen years.

Now working independently, Betsy focuses full-time on what she loves most: helping students and families find their best-fit college and put together the strongest possible application. Having read thousands of essays from both sides of the admissions desk, she's deeply familiar with standardized testing strategy, the evolving test-optional landscape, Early Decision and Early Action, transfer admissions, and financial aid. Her goal is simple — to make a daunting process feel understandable, and to help every student find a college where they'll genuinely flourish.
