About Me

Beverly Brutzkus's path into college consulting began as a parent volunteer at a high school's College and Career Center in Southern California's Conejo Valley, where she saw firsthand how much students — especially those with average grades or learning differences — struggled through the planning process. She went on to complete a full curriculum of college consulting courses and an internship, graduating with Distinction from the UCLA College Counseling Certificate Program.

Beverly stays current by regularly visiting colleges and meeting with admissions officers, attending conferences and webinars, and connecting with fellow consultants. She volunteers as a virtual counselor for ScholarMatch and an essay reader for several scholarship programs, serves on the Board of the Westlake Village Community Foundation, and is a Professional Member of HECA and NACAC, offering personalized guidance to families anywhere finding the college that fits their academic, social, and financial needs.
