About Me

Dr. Benita Kapuku holds a double honours Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Maynooth University, Ireland. She recently graduated from her doctoral studies in Chemistry at McGill University, Canada. Her research centred around discovering novel therapies for a tropical infectious disease. In her pursuit to gain laboratory experience during her undergraduate studies, Dr. Kapuku applied to 2 dozen internships with a low response rate. Having learnt from that experience, she was successfully accepted into several doctoral programs. These experiences fuel her passion for helping students in their pursuit of higher education.
