About Me
Carmen Liao's interest shifted from audit and risk management to educational consulting after she started raising her own children, spending six years helping immigrant families in Singapore navigate the K-12 school application process before moving into college planning and admissions guidance — work she's found genuinely fulfilling, using her varied professional background to understand each student's unique strengths at a deeper level.
A graduate of UC Irvine's Independent Education Consultant program and associate member of IECA, Carmen holds a Wow Writing Workshop Certified Essay Coach certification and stays current through monthly workshops, conferences, and around 15 college visits each year.
