The transition from high school to higher education should be a time of personal growth and self-awareness. If done correctly, the process of exploring higher education options should be a key part of this growth experience. In addition to helping students gain access to the college that is the best option for them, I strive to help families understand and simplify the process.

My background in education and adolescent development provides a strong basis for the work I do with my college-bound students. In addition to my work as an adolescent therapist, I have taught both high school and college students and adult learners. I have conducted alumni interviews for applicants to University of Pennsylvania since shortly after my graduation from that school.

In addition to working with college bound students I am active in the advancement of the profession. In 2011 I taught in the week-long Summer Training Institute for one hundred new educational consultants sponsored by the Independent Educational Consultants Association. I will teach in that program again in 2012.
