About Me

Chelese Belmont earned her B.A. in History with honors from UC Berkeley and an M.F.A. in Theatre from The Actors Studio Drama School. She's a former filmmaker (14 years), actress (19 years), and competitive dancer (20 years), and enjoys photography, hiking, yoga, baking, and traveling in her free time.

With over 19 years of counseling and tutoring experience, Chelese has presented to LA high school students on the college application process, volunteered with Young Storytellers bringing creative writing to underserved youth, and taught SAT prep in Oakland and Berkeley after-school programs. Her expertise spans an unusually wide range — from STEM and business to film, performing arts, and architecture — with particular strength supporting students with learning differences or on the autism spectrum, plus arts portfolio review and graduate-level applications across the social sciences and humanities.
