About Me


In addition to regularly attending education conferences to keep abreast with trending topics and changes in admissions information, Abby has visited over 70 colleges in the U.S, and participated in the IECA Summer Training Institute for Independent Counselors and the UCLA College Counseling Certificate Program. Depending on a student's location, coaching sessions can be conducted remotely or in-person.



Abby is also a strong advocate for equal college access and persistence, and supports first-generation low-income (FLI) and underserved youth navigate the college application process through ScholarMatch, a CBO dedicated to supporting first-generation high school and college students.



Prior to becoming an IEC (Independent Education Consultant), Abby worked in the financial services and telecommunications industries. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MS in International & Higher Education from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She is a professional member of IECA (Independent Education Consultants Association), a member of NYSACAC (New York State Association for College Admission Counseling), and NJACAC (New Jersey for Association for College Admission Counseling).
