A Bank Street College-trained educator, Stacy visits 20-25 colleges yearly and volunteers as a Vassar alumni interviewer.

About Me

Stacy Colwell founded Colwell College Consulting after over 20 years in direct service to students as a teacher, beginning her career in New York City Public Schools while earning her M.S. in Early Childhood & Elementary Education from Bank Street College. After years teaching in New York and California, a growing interest in higher education access led her to earn an M.A. in Higher Educational Leadership & Policy from CSU Sacramento and a certificate in Career & College Planning from UC Berkeley.

Stacy is a member of WACAC and HECA, follows NACAC's Statement of Principles of Good Practice, and visits 20-25 colleges each year. In her free time, she's an alumni interviewer for her alma mater, Vassar College.
