Building on interlaced experiences in editing, publishing, consulting, and tutoring equips Kyra to guide promising students no matter where they are in their educational journeys. She is dedicated to not only helping young writers create fresh and innovative stories, but also transforming the intense college admissions process into a wonderful opportunity for meaningful self-reflection.

About Me

After partnering with ILUMIN consultants to refine their students’ college essays, Kyra decided to become an Education Consultant herself. She loves coaching students to follow through on awesome academic and extracurricular activities by visualizing how these endeavors form the foundation of stellar college applications.

Originally from the Bay Area, Kyra graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Creative Writing, a minor from the interdisciplinary Honors Program, and multiple departmental honors. Her years as former editor-in-chief of two university publications, conductor of countless writing workshops for high school and college students, and editor at an international publishing house for scientific journals all give Kyra a comprehensive repertoire to teach professional, authentic writing.
