About Me

Kyra Jee's path into education consulting began by partnering with ILUMIN's consultants to refine students' college essays — work she loved enough to become an Education Consultant herself. She's especially drawn to helping students see how their academic and extracurricular activities can form the foundation of a genuinely strong application.

A Bay Area native, Kyra graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Creative Writing and multiple departmental honors. Her background as former editor-in-chief of two university publications, a workshop leader for high school and college writers, and an editor at an international scientific publishing house gives her a well-rounded toolkit for teaching authentic, professional writing.
