Description of Experience : I have worked with freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors: some on comprehensive plans, others requesting specific services including personal assessments and career exploration, standardized test plans, college searches, financial aid and scholarship guidance, and essay topic brainstorming/review.

About Me

Kathy is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC). She regularly visits college campuses and attends national and regional conferences to stay current on all aspects of the college planning process. She holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Graduate Certificate, with Distinction, in College Counseling from UCLA.

An Air Force veteran, her passion for working with and mentoring students grew with her own three children (two college graduates, one in college) and her many years of serving as a volunteer in their schools, her community and church. She loves cooking and eating great, healthy food, being outside, and adventuring near and far. Kathy and her husband, Michael, live in the Lake Norman area of Charlotte, NC.
