About Me
Elizete Groenendaal holds BA/MBA degrees from Lafayette College and UC Berkeley, certificates from Harvard and NYU, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA earned while working with international students applying to US/UK universities. Originally from Puerto Rico, she's lived in San Juan, São Paulo, Miami, and London, and now calls New York City home with her multinational family.
Elizete works closely with students to build a college list with strong fit and guide them through the full application process, including essay writing, and has a particular focus on coaching first-generation students — running admissions and financial aid orientations at several New York nonprofit community programs. Before college consulting, her career spanned marketing for multinational companies in Latin America to microfinance work supporting entrepreneurs in the U.S. She speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and enjoys reading, travel, and tennis.
