About Me

Elizete is passionate about mentoring and coaching those around her. An avid learner, Elizete holds BA/MBA degrees from Lafayette College and UC Berkeley and certificates from Harvard and NYU. She completed her certificate in College Counseling at UCLA while working with international students applying to US/UK universities.



Originally from Puerto Rico, she has lived in San Juan, São Paulo, Miami, London and currently lives in New York City. Her family is multinational. Her husband is half French-half Dutch, and her children are American, French and Brazilian.

Elizete successfully coaches students into programs where they thrive and graduate. She works closely with the student in devising a college lists with strong fit and guiding the student through the application process including essay writing. She also coaches first generation students and runs orientations on admissions and financial aid at a few non-profit community programs in New York.



Prior to becoming a college consultant, Elizete’s career spanned from marketing packaged goods for multinational companies in Latin America to a microfinance NGO providing loans and financial literacy to entrepreneurs in the US. All of which provides lifelong lessons to share with her students as they embark on the most exciting time of their lives.



Elizete speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese and is an avid reader, world traveler and tennis player
