About Me

Scot Marken has spent more than 20 years professionally supporting individuals with disabilities, drawing on both his career and personal life. Before founding EdRedefined, he served as CEO of one of the largest developmental disability service providers in the Washington, DC region, and led one of Maryland's largest school-based support nonprofits.

Scot has raised more than $30 million in grants and government contracts over his career, served on the Board of ANCOR (the national association of developmental disability providers), and sits on the national planning committee for the College Autism Summit. A graduate of IECA's 2020 Summer Training Institute, he holds a B.A. from Duke, where he's long volunteered as an alumni admissions interviewer, and is the proud father of a college student and a high school senior navigating their own admissions journeys.
