About Me

Ginger Kroll founded Gateway to Admission after discovering her passion for college admissions
while guiding her own son through the intricate application process. From 2016 to 2019, she
immersed herself in every detail, from visiting campuses to perfecting essays, gaining firsthand
experience in what students and parents encounter. This experience sparked her desire to help
others navigate the complexities of college admissions with greater ease and confidence.
Her counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has a unique path. By actively
listening to both students and parents, Ginger creates customized admission strategies that align
with the student’s strengths, aspirations, and personality. Her goal is to reduce the stress often
associated with the process, while empowering students to showcase their authentic selves in their applications.
Gateway to Admission works with clients in the western suburbs of Chicago and across the country, offering comprehensive services ranging from selecting schools to crafting standout applications.
Ginger takes pride in building relationships with families, providing individualized attention, and
