As a former school counselor, I’ve dedicated my career to serving students and families.
In my twenty-one years of college admissions counseling experience, I built a reputation for being kind, helpful, organized, and motivated to improve the lives of people. I am the father to four children, so I understand how the stress of college admissions can be!
I grew up on Long Island; I attended SUNY Geneseo, earned a BA in Psychology, and then went on to LIU/C.W. Post where I completed an MS in School Counseling.
My career as a guidance counselor began at Eastern Suffolk BOCES where I worked at a vocational school for students with disabilities. I then found my way to Ward Melville HS in the Three Village Central School District. Before retiring I was the ACT Test Coordinator and SAT/ACT Test Prep Coordinator, and I continue to be the Head Coach of the girl’s varsity soccer team.
In addition to coaching, I work with high school students, providing college admissions counseling for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. I am an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) which allows me to be connected to a wonderful group of people committed to helping students find the schools that fit them best.
