About Me

John Diehl spent twenty-one years as a school counselor, building a reputation for being kind, organized, and genuinely motivated to help people. As the father of four, he understands the stress of college admissions firsthand. He grew up on Long Island, earned his BA in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, and completed his MS in School Counseling at LIU/C.W. Post.

John began his career at Eastern Suffolk BOCES, working at a vocational school for students with disabilities, before moving to Ward Melville High School in the Three Village Central School District, where he served as ACT Test Coordinator and SAT/ACT Test Prep Coordinator before retiring — and where he still coaches the girls' varsity soccer team. He now works with sophomores, juniors, and seniors on college admissions counseling, and is an associate member of IECA.
