College admissions is stressful.
Let me take care of this for you so you can enjoy your teen’s junior and senior years making memories without worrying about each step of the application process.
I’m Dr. Stephanie Oswald, an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and complete geek about the college admissions process.
I know you don’t want to spend time arguing with your teen about whether their essay is done, if they filled out the activities section correctly, or if they remembered to capitalize their name on their application.
If your teens are anything like mine, you, as a parent, know nothing about what needs to happen when applying to college, but odds are, they’ll listen to someone else.

About Me

I’m a Mom of middle and high school boys and a Stepmom to a sophomore at Colorado College.

You’re probably curious about where I’ve helped teens get into college.

I understand your curiosity and I’m happy to discuss this during our discovery call.

I don’t believe there are any guarantees in the college admissions process, but I do believe there’s hard work and determination on the part of the teens I’ve worked with that have helped them achieve their goals.

I’m a proud Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, an organization that allows me to stay connected to colleagues, professional development, and provide you with the best possible guidance to find the best college fit for your teen.

I’ve been doing this work for over 5 years now, and it’s always a joy to see families enjoying their time together during their teen’s junior and senior years because they’re not worrying about every detail of the college admissions process.

I’m always learning and following what’s happening in the college admissions world. Each admissions cycle is a fresh start and you never know what’s going to happen. I can’t offer guarantees of admission, but I can offer to help ease your stress and provide the best possible guidance for your teen to find their best college fit.

I use words to share ideas, connect people, inspire action, and unwind my mind. I help others find the words to tell their stories and find their voice. I'm a writer, a podcaster, a data driven author coach, and a college admissions consultant. I love all of these roles because they're all connected to writing.

When I'm not writing, you can find me exercising, practicing yoga, and engaging in daily mindfulness. My family and I enjoy spending time skiing, hiking and exploring the outdoors. I'm also, quite often, the biggest cheerleader for my kiddos from the sidelines of countless athletic events.
