About Me
Hailing from Piscataway, New Jersey, Nia is a graduate from Drew University where she earned her Bachelor’s in English Literature. A literature enthusiast, Nia became a member of the International English Honor Society and had her capstone paper published in the 2019 volume of The Drew Review. She discovered a passion for helping others through all parts of the writing process as an on-campus tutor at Drew. After graduating, Nia continued on the journey to help students with English as an SAT, ACT, and English tutor. Throughout her years of tutoring, Nia has shown enthusiasm for getting to know her students’ strengths, interests, and areas for potential growth. She aims to make the learning process rewarding and interactive while letting students know that hard work will help them reach their goals. When she’s not teaching, Nia enjoys hiking along the trails of New Jersey’s beautiful national parks.
