A Cornell and NYU Law grad, Linda transitioned from two decades of legal practice into college counseling, co-editing NJACAC's ABCs of College Planning.

About Me

Linda Kern, a graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial Relations, went on to earn her J.D. from NYU School of Law. After practicing law for two decades, she was drawn into college counseling, spending years helping students craft compelling essays while conducting alumni interviews for Cornell, before earning her Certification in College Counseling from UC San Diego.

Linda is an Associate Member of IECA and a member of the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Counselors, where she serves as Co-Editor of the ABCs of College Planning, along with the Learning Disabilities Association of New Jersey. Through Success College Counseling, she regularly attends admissions information sessions to stay current on trends and build relationships with admissions officers, helping families with strategic planning, essay support, and navigating the process.
