About Me

James Crawley is a College Admissions Coach at Prepory, where the team — made up of former admissions officers, former faculty, and graduates of top universities — is known for pairing strong credentials with a genuinely personal coaching style.

Favorite supplemental essay prompt: University of Chicago's "In what ways do we become younger as we get older?"

Fun fact: I've developed a huge passion for fine woodworking and furniture making, and was recently able to design and build the crib for my 1-year-old.

James's advice for students: "Be intentional! Take the time to figure out why you're going to college, how you define "success," and what kinds of grand challenges you'd like to solve."
