My entire professional career has been dedicated to serve youth in an equitable way. I was a Science and AVID teacher at Sequoia High School in Redwood City, CA integrating social justice into my science curriculum and implementing equitable teaching practices to ensure the success of all my students. Transitioning my passion for equitable education, I joined the Stanford Teacher Education Program, dedicating the past 13 years to mentoring student teachers in crafting equitable practices within their classroom.

About Me


I have devoted hundreds of hours to volunteering in my community, contributing to 10 Books A Home (early literacy program), Foundation for a College Education, Community Service Agency Mountain View, Nixon Elementary School Site council, and as a JLS, Fletcher, and Gunn parent volunteer. I also serve as Board member for the Gunn Foundation in Palo Alto, CA.
