In his free time, Erik enjoys music, film, reading, writing, and sports.
Erik has always had a passion for mentoring and passing on his knowledge to help others. In high school, Erik was a Big Brother and continued mentoring students during his undergraduate degree in his roles at the Undergraduate Journal of Political Studies and CiTR 101.9fm. As a lawyer, Erik played a key role in mentoring incoming students.

About Me
Erik was born in Vancouver, BC and grew up between Canada and Brazil. He received his Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Honours Political Science and International Relations with a Minor in French from the University of British Columbia in 2016. He was also a senior editor for the Undergraduate Journal of Political Studies and president of UBC's campus and community radio station, CiTR 101.9fm.
Erik attended the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University from 2017-2020 and was a recipient of the prestigious Schulich Scholarship in Law. While in law school, he was on the executive of the Refugee Advocacy Association Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Employment and Labour Law Association, volunteered as part of the Tenant’s Rights Program at Dalhousie’s Legal Aid Clinic and helped organize the inaugural Canadian Animal Law Conference.
