Founder of Great Expectations College Prep, Jen doubled score improvements over industry averages before building out athletic and arts specialists.

About Me

Jennifer Kaifesh's fascination with the admissions process led her into standardized test prep in 2003, joining a well-known LA test prep company — but she quickly found the one-size-fits-all methodology limiting. By tailoring her approach to each student's own problem-solving style, she saw score improvements nearly double the company average, which led her to strike out on her own in 2006 and found Great Expectations College Prep.

Jen's vision was to merge personalized test prep with genuine insight into the application process, encouraging students to pursue academic and extracurricular activities they truly enjoy — the authenticity that matters most in a strong application. As the company grew, she brought on specialists in athletic recruitment, art portfolios, and other niche areas, while staying personally involved in every student's progress.
